HCP Job Report 43 : Linkou Power Plant Substation Wastewater Drainage in New Taipei City, Taiwan

◎ Models Installed:SF/SA Series - Submersible Stainless Steel Pumps

◎ Description:

As Taiwan transitioned into green energy, the Taiwan Power Company extended its Taoyuang Datan Power Plant grid to New Taipei City to compensate for the temporary power shortage. The extension includes adding a substation in Linkou Power Plant. The substation has HCP SF Series Submersible Stainless Steel Pumps, 0.75kW 50SFU2.8A and 1.5kW 80SFP21.5, for underground effluent and wastewater drainage. At 8m head, the 50SFU2.8A extracts 0.2m3 while the 80SFP21.5 extracts 0.6m3 of water. The U-type vortex impeller helps pump liquids with long fibers and the P-type open impeller cuts large substances to prevent clogging. The pumps fulfill the substation’s water needs to supply electricity.
