Water Recycling System Expansion in Keelung, Taiwan

◎ Description：
                    The Hsieh Hsieh-Ho Power Plant, located in Keelung, Taiwan, is a heavy oil oil-fired power plant. Due to adverse air pollution resulting from oil combustion and the gradual decommissioning of oil oil-fired units, Taiwan Power Company (TaiPower) is replacing aged oil oil-fired units with gas turbine units. The water recycling tank for the gas unit is exposed to the open environment, requiring 3.7kW and 30kW pumps that can effectively prevent foreign objects from entering and withstand Keelung's humid and rainy climate. The cast-iron case HCP PUMP AF Series Submersible Sewage/Wastewater Pumps were selected for their durability and sturdiness to stand against Keelung's weather. At 20m head, 3.7kW 80AFU23.7A, solid passage 50mm, pumps 0.3m3/min and meanwhile 30kW 100(150)AFE430, solid passage 76mm, pumps 4.6m3/min. With the non non-clogged impellers, the pumps help the water recycling operate smoothly. The gas turbine units significantly cut the air pollution and carbon footprint and conserve water.
