Xixi National Wetland Park Sewage Lifting System in Hangzhou, China

Less than 5,000 meters away from Xi lake, the Xixi National Wetland Park locates in the Xihu district and northwest of the Yuhang District in China' s Hangzhou province. Inland ports, ponds, lakes, swamps, and more wetlands take up 70% of the park. The rich natural resources and sceneries with historical value make the park "Three Xis of Hangzhou." This wetland park is also the first in China to have urban wetlands containing agricultural purposes and cultural significance. The tourists' favor created a challenge for the park to provide uninterrupted services. The annual increase of tourists overwhelmed the sewage system. The park upgraded the sewage system with an efficient sewage lifting system, the HCP PUMP F/FN Series Submersible Sewage/Effluent Pump, and the vortex impeller designed for thick liquid and long fibers and capable of passing large solids. The park continues to provide uninterrupted services and reduces the risks of water contamination and ecological damage. The pumps included for this upgrade are F-21 U with 8m3/hour discharge and FN-32 U with 20m3/hour discharge.
